DON’T KNOW WHY YOUR DOG IS MISBEHAVING AND HOW TO MAKE IT STOP?
THEN IT IS TIME TO CALL US!!!

We take a holistic approach to your dogs problems; the key is looking at your dog’s life as a whole and knowing how to make sense of any unwanted behaviour.

It is a good idea to see a vet before addressing behavioural problems because there may be an underlying cause that is making the animal act erratically. If the dog’s behaviour has changed suddenly or over time, it could very well have to do with its health. Any dog owner is usually pretty in tune with their pet and will “just know” that something isn’t right, so in those circumstances it is best to take the dog to the vet. Even if you aren’t 100% sure but the dog just doesn’t seem right, I always think it’s better to be safe than sorry. Besides once the dog has a clean bill of health you can then start to work on the problem at hand, with one less problem to worry about.

Dogs need to be walked for more than just exercise. To be happy they really need to experience the world around them; the sights, the sounds, but especially the smells. It keeps them alert and happily in touch with the world around them. Of course depending on the breed, they will also need a certain amount of exercise. (E.g. A Border Collie that has been bred to run around all day chasing sheep needs more activity than my neighbour’s bulldog that would quite happily lounge around all day.) Dogs that aren’t walked enough can often become very naughty and destructive; they may bark more and can even develop bad habits (tail chasing) out of boredom.
