DON’T KNOW WHY YOUR DOG IS BARKING AND HOW TO MAKE IT STOP?
THEN IT IS TIME TO CALL US!!!

Dogs generally make five distinct sounds; the key is knowing how to distinguish between them and how to stop unwanted barking.

You can generally tell when a dog is sounding the alarm and is ready for action because his bark becomes mid-range and in quick succession. The faster that the dog is barking the more that it is worried that someone/something could be nearby and about a possible threat or danger. It is the sort of bark that makes you get out of your comfy chair to see what is going on outside. It usually doesn’t last long, unless there is a real threat (or perceived threat).

Whereas a dog that is trying to get your attention because it is lonely is lower in pitch, more soulful and may be just a single bark every few minutes or so. It is saying I miss you, I am lonely. Please pay attention to me. It generally works too because the dog will be told to shut up, giving it the attention that it wanted, causing it to repeat it again.
